GOVERNING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations and bookings at Casa Fina Langkawi ("the Hotel") are subject to the terms and conditions that are summarized below.

Registered Guests and their visitors are advised to comply to these governing terms and conditions at all times. In the event of Guests' failure to comply to these terms and conditions, the Hotel reserves the right to forfeit Guests' deposits at the hotel; eject guests and/or their visitors from the hotel; impose replacement and/or repair charges on the Guests and/or make financial claims to recoup loss of income.

GENERAL POLICIES

  • Upon check-in, all furniture, fittings and equipment shall be in good working condition or order. In case of loss or damage to any item, the Hotel shall impose a replacement or repair charge on the Guests' account for the lost or damaged item(s).
  • Any damage to the premises and/or facilities beyond fair wear and tear shall be made good by the Guest.
  • Electrical appliances, especially air conditioners must be turned off after use or when the Guest has vacated the room, to prevent damage and/or creating a fire hazard.
  • At check-out, the Guest shall return all rented item(s) to the Hotel, failing which, the value of the item(s) shall be charged to the Guest or deducted against the Guest's deposit.

PROHIBITED FRUITS, PETS & ACTIVITIES

  • Durians, mangosteens and jackfruit are strictly prohibited on Hotel premises, including rooms and common areas.
  • Pets are also strictly prohibited on Hotel premises.
  • Gambling and any other illegal activities are strictly prohibited on Hotel premises.

IN-HOUSE ETIQUETTE

  • Please be considerate and respect other Guests' peace, privacy and belongings.
  • Please park considerately in designated parking areas on Hotel premises or along the street.
  • Please do not dry clothings on top of the roof railings or any any common areas at the Hotel.
  • Kindly dispose of waste at designated rubbish collection areas.
  • We aim to provide the cleanest hotel rooms that you have ever stayed in and we would need your assistance to do so.

DAMAGE AND LOSS

  • The Hotel shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered by any person(s), vehicle(s) and/or belonging(s) of the Guest or his/her visitor whilst on or off the Hotel's premises
  • The Hotel shall not be held responsible for any cash/valuable left in the rooms.

IMPORTANT CHECK-IN INFORMATION

  • All room charges must be paid upon arrival.
  • Personal cheques are not accepted.
  • Check-ins commences at 3:00PM; check-outs must be completed by 12:00 noon.
  • The Hotel will impose late check-out surcharge of RM10o, where applicable, to 5:30PM. Late check-out is subject to availability of rooms.
  • A Refundable Room Key card Cash Deposit of RM100 shall be placed with the Hotel upon check-in.
  • Any lost or damaged key card will be subject to a replacement cost of RM50 per card.
  • The Hotel only accepts VISA and MASTER credit/debit cards. The Hotel does not provide any "Cash Advance" services on credit cards.
  • Hair dryers, prayer mats and irons are available on request.
  • The Hotel will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to valuable or items left in its rooms.

TOURISM TAXES

  • Effective July 1, 2016, all reservations shall be subject to a local town council "Tourism Tax" of RM1.00 per room night. This bed taxis collected by the Langkawi Town Council, Majlis Perbandaran Langkawi (MPL).
  • Effective September 1, 2017, all reservations and bookings effected by tourists shall be subject to a Federal "Tourism Tax" of RM10.00 per room night. This Tourism Tax is imposed on all reservations under the auspices of the Tourism Tax Act 2017 and collected by the Royal Malaysian Customs. Reservations in the name of Malaysian citizens are, however, exempt from the tax.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • All reservations are final and non-refundable. The Hotel reserves the right to deny requests for amendments to reservations.
  • Please note that foregone or "missed" reservations shall be treated as "no shows" and all subsequent requests for refunds will not be entertained.
  • Upon check-in and should guests decide to checkout ahead of schedule, the Guest will not be entitled to a refund.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to cancel, amend or change the reservation(s) of any booking with reasonable notice given to the Guest. In the event the changes are acceptable, the Hotel shall offer the Guest alternative dates of stay.
